Crafting Chaos

 I've been doing counted cross stitch for well over 30 years and amassed quite a collection of DMC floss in that time.  I've always put the floss on labeled cards but I got lax and if I already had the color on a card I'd put the skein aside to put on the card once I'd used up the rest of the floss already on the card.  Well, that's resulted in a hideous pile of unorganized floss.  And what do you do when you start a project and organizing the colors for the project?  Well, you go and buy new floss and in essence end up adding to the already overwhelming floss chaos.  Soooo in an effort to get my floss situation under control I've bought extra floss cards, scotch tape, and brought all my floss in it's designated tote (yes I said tote) downstairs to the 'man cave' which is the coolest part of the house.  Hopefully I'll be able to find something to watch on tv or I'll pop in a dvd and get down to business labeling and wrapping floss on the card...
